Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). We have pledged to bring urban air mobility to life by getting electric air taxis and other eVTOLs off the ground in a way that complements existing transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable, on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we carried out the first-ever piloted flight of a fully electric multicopter and have since conducted more than 1,500 public and private test flights across the world (www.volocopter.com). 

Your crew during this flight:

We are looking for a talent project management intern join our mission to join our pioneering efforts in urban air mobility through our eVTOLs like the Volocity. You will be involved in the daily project management activities for the Flight Science Department, in the Volocity Program, and will support in ensuring smooth operations. You will gain hands-on experience in a highly dynamic environment and can provide your input to improve the quality of our processes.

Your mission during this flight:

• You will support daily meetings with the team
• You will assist in the daily tracking of team progress towards agreed goals, highlighting new risks and escalating blockers
• You will support capacity tracking in project management tools, in coordination with lead PM, and prepare an analysis of possible timeline scenarios
• You will have regular exchanges with the lead PM on big picture thinking for the Flight Science department, discussing next critical milestones and brainstorming improvement of team processes

Check in your professional skills:

• Currently studying towards a degree, ideally, in your last semester, in the field of technology, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or management or a comparable field of study
• Basic knowledge of MS Office / MS Teams.
• Basic knowledge of JIRA / other task management tools
• Organizational skills – any hands-on project experience is a plus
• Hand-on attitude and can-do attitude
• Able to work independently and self-driven
• Available for a minimum of 6 months 40 hours per week, on-site at our HQ in Bruchsal
• Fluent in English
