We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. Your mission during this flight:

During your Internship in Stress Engineering for the Airframe, your mission is to support the Stress Engineers with primary and secondary structure stress analysis.

• Contribute to stress reports and design review meetings
• Prepare, conduct, and document engineering tests

Check in your professional skills:

• Master or Bachelor student in the field of mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or comparable field of study
• First experience in Stress Analysis
• General knowledge about FRP composites
• Organized way of working and open for independent tasks

Preferred skills:

• First hands-on experiences with FRP composites preferred
• Any FEM software experience would be counted as an advantage
• Achieved track record with a student’s team competition
• Passion and motivation to shape the future of mobility
• Fluent in English
