We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).

Your mission during this flight:
As part of the communications team, you have the opportunity to pioneer and shape the story of urban air mobility with one of the hottest players in the field. In your role you will directly report to the Head of PR and help in communications projects across the entire company with a focus on communications in the German-speaking realm. 

• You create measures to shape the story of Volocopter and our reputations with our key media stakeholders with your creative thinking in alignment with our greater Communications team
• You continuously research and conduct press monitoring evaluations as groundwork for long term local/regional press strategy
• You write, edit, and translate content for external communications as well as Social Media Channels
• You work with media and editorial teams, build up and maintain existing media contact networks, and develop your own key contacts
• You help in evaluating, organizing, and executing external and internal PR events 

Check in your professional skills:

• You have successfully completed a degree in the humanities, communications, languages or equivalent education
• You have 3-5 years of practical experience in a PR agency or equivalent fast-moving PR environment and know the common tools used in corporate and product PR 
• You bring personal initiative, team spirit, and structured thinking and like to get things done
• You work accurately, are reliable, take initiative, and in general, have a solution-oriented way of working
• You bring along excellent and proven writing skills in German (native level) and English from your previous work as a journalist or PR Manager 

Preferred skills:

• Provable affinity to mobility, startups, or technology
• You are fluent in French or Italian
