We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the ground in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).

Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

The Product Owner will be responsible for leading the development of the commercial schedule module & booking engine / management module. This individual will act as the primary point of contact between the development team and the Product Manager, and will be responsible for managing the product backlog, prioritizing features and ensuring that the team is delivering high-quality, on-time results.

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

eCommerce background with experience in managing and developing mobile and web products, including a solid understanding of product management principles and practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proven experience in communicating effectively with development teams, stakeholders, and product managers
Ability to lead and motivate a development team, ensuring that the team is delivering high-quality, on-time results
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to gather and analyze user feedback to inform product decisions
Knowledge of Frontend, Backend & mobile first (React, Kotlin, iOS, Android) technologies and trends
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that the apps and web portal are integrated with the booking engine and commercial schedule
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks, such as SAFe
Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability and solution-oriented way of working
Excellent English language skills
