We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Your crew during this flight:

Our Maintenance Team is an ambitious, highly motivated, and flexible team to support the technical entry into service of our various air mobility products already now alongside the development phase. Each team member provides their competencies and energy to make the visions happen.

We are developing the maintenance setup not only for Bruchsal but also for our international rollout. We aim to create innovative and effective maintenance concepts and organizational setups while adhering to the regulations and securing the highest safety standards. We are a motivated, multi-cultural Team that enjoys developing the technical operations of Urban Air Mobility worldwide.

Your mission during this flight:

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer. The person selected will be responsible for technical details and procedures regarding maintenance operations including troubleshooting and repair procedures. 

  • You will be troubleshooting and problem-solving during maintenance of the prototype and develop a knowledge base for TC aircraft
  • You setup task-/jobcards and maintenance instructions
  • You analyze and process incoming documentation from the Design Organization and parts supplier as provided by the CAMO
  • You work in close cooperation with CAMO to define maintenance requirements for the Design Organization and advise CAMO/DOA on efficient maintenance concepts and maintenance plans
  • You coordinate and assist Engineering & Maintenance (especially in job planning) 
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Engineering degree
  • Experience as a Product- or System Engineer or as a troubleshooting technician
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and aeronautical legislation and procedures
  • High analytical skills with a motivation to solution finding and to clearly communicate them

Preferred skills:

  • Excellent English language skills
  • German language skills are an advantage
  • IT knowledge in AMOS, Projectmanagement and technical documentation tools preferred
  • Good negotiation and persuasion skills as well as assertiveness and stress resistance
  • Customer orientation with a special focus on customer needs
