We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Your mission during this flight:

As an Aircraft Mechanic - Flight Test you will have the following responsibilities: 

• You will be planning and performing maintenance tasks like preflight checks, configuration changes and repairs on test aircraft.
• You will support of international flight test campaigns with the deployment of several weeks.
• You will be part of the Ground Servicing of the aircraft (i.e Towing, Battery change/installation)
• You will be securing the Material and Tool & Equipment availability.
• You will safely, reliable, and compliant document maintenance work.

Check in your professional skills:

• Eligibility for assignment as Flight Test Mechanic are all holders of a valid EASA CAT A, B1, B2 or B3 license plus the fulfilment of a Practical Log for Flight Test Mechanic according to VMF-003-001.
• Experience as Certifying Staff for more than 3 years and self-organization of work or small work teams.
• Experience with and passion for continuous improvement and reporting.
• Working in an international environment for more than 1 year.
• Experience in planning and scheduling of work in MRO IT systems beneficial.
• Trained in first aid.
• Instructed on high voltage systems is beneficial.
