We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). As a member of the Supply Chain Management team, you will have the opportunity to help design and build innovative and modern production sites. As part of a highly motivated planning and implementation team, you will work closely and interdisciplinarity with colleagues from product design, manufacturing engineering, quality and the plant managers. Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

As a Logistics Planner you will drive all planning topics related to logistics for in the assembly line, ensuring an optimal material flow based on the design and technology chain while adhering to the latest industry best practices and aviation certification standards.

Main tasks:

  • Selection of optimal supply strategies in the team
  • Supervision of the evaluation and implementation of logistical customer requirements on the supplier and customer side
  • Carrying out logistics cost calculation and investment controlling
  • You are responsible for demand-oriented planning and scheduling as well as the processing of all procurement processes in the area of responsibility
  • You analyze the production data and carry out capacity planning, deadline tracking, derivation of escalation measures, bottleneck control, data management and logistics reporting
  • You take over the planning and scheduling of merchandise and raw materials and ensure the ability to deliver with a high level of customer orientation
  • In addition, you are responsible for the inventory structure according to your area of responsibility and manage customer orders
  • You are responsible for the logistical support of international customers as well as logistics project sponsor for product and process changes or new product launches
  • You accompany project processes, carry out logistics projects as well as analyze and improve existing process chains for the preparation of decisions/preparation of alternative decision-making variants in complex issues
  • You prepare and accompany stocktaking
  • On-schedule control of parts delivery
  • Ensuring control with regard to inventories, delivery performance and costs
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Masters in of industrial engineering, logistics or a comparable qualification
  • Relevant experience of at least 3 years in logistics planning
  • Confident handling of MS Office and SAP

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge in automotive or aerospace production or logistics is a plus
  • Knowledge about HV and/or battery technology is a plus
