We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). Your mission during this flight:

As a Senior CAPEX Project Buyer within Volocopter’s Procurement Department, you will play an integral role in the alignment of procurement topics with a focus on CAPEX purchases for production equipment and facility-related installations.

You prepare investment decisions for machinery and equipment. Furthermore, you will negotiate contractual decisions for delivery and maintenance, ensure and report the quality of the whole process.

• Coordination of procurement projects with a focus on CAPEX purchases, in compliance with stakeholder requirements and internal targets
• Working with cross-functional teams to align and define requirements
• Negotiation of contractual conditions for price, delivery and maintenance
• Support of the procurement process up to machine acceptance at the plant together with the technical teams and coordination of supplier communication
• Ensuring machine delivery on time, within quality specs, on cost target and according to requirements
• Conducting market studies, selection and evaluation of suppliers, preparation of investment decisions for machinery and equipment
• Tracking and reporting of project progress on Management level

Check in your professional skills:

• You hold a master´s degree in industrial/mechanical engineering, production, or similar
• You have relevant work experience in (CAPEX) Procurement, Consulting, Production, Project Management, or similar fields
• You show initiative, enjoy responsibility, have a solution-oriented way of working and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• You are a responsible personality, communicative team player, with strong assertiveness
• Very good knowledge of German and English language (written and spoken)
