We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electrical multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale Volocopter (www.volocopter.com).

Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

At Volocopter, during your internship, you will support the Agile Office in fostering the agile mindset through various ways of working (frameworks). 
You will work closely with the Agile Coaches and might assist the Release Train Engineer in the planning and implementation of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), in particular the preparation of regular events such as PI planning and Scrum of Scrums. 
You will also give the Scrum Masters a helping hand. 

  • Support the Agile Office in some interfaces with other departments, especially internally in the People and Organization (P&O)
  • Support Agile Coaches in fostering the Agile mindset within the Company
  • Support Agile Coaches in the documentation
  • Assist Release Train Engineer with PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums organizations
  • Help with the preparation and follow-up of some workshops and meetings
  • Help with recording and processing of some data, using, for example, Jira
  • Assist the Scrum Masters with some on-demand activities
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Studies in business administration, business psychology, pedagogy, communication, or comparable 
  • An open and independent character who appreciates achieving goals together with others (team-oriented) 
  • Confident handling of MS Office, basic knowledge and interest in agile product development, controlling or organizational design, and ideally experience with Jira 
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Creative in quickly developing approaches to problems and recommending actions to the involved people
  • Self-starter and highly motivated; Uses sound business judgment and exhibits leadership qualities
  • Available for at least 6-months 
  • You are currently authorized to work in Germany, either through a work permit/visa or citizenship

Preferred Skills: 

  • Personality and way of working: an open and independent character who appreciates achieving goals together with others (team-oriented)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and eager for learning
  • Good written and oral skills - able to clearly convey complex blends of business and technical matters to a range of audiences
