We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We are bringing urban air mobility to life by introducing our air taxis and drones as an electric addition to current transportation options in megacities worldwide. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

Working at the beating heart of Volocopter and reporting directly to the Head of APAC. You will ensure that the projects in Volocopter APAC are implemented on time and on target. You will also act as a sparring partner to the Head of APAC on strategic projects and put the Head of APAC's ideas into action. Lastly, you will support the quarterly strategic planning and annual budgeting of the APAC team and assist in optimizing Volocopter APAC team’s day-to-day effectiveness across all business areas in Asia Pacific. 

  • Support Head of APAC for
    • Planning the quarterly OKR workshop and updating and reporting on OKR progress
    • Planning and tracking the annual financial budget
    • Preparing public presentations, interviews, panels
    • Support team building and recruitment planning, tracking and approval
    • Prepare C-Level and Partners Presentations and Meetings for Senior Management Team and Partners
  • Assist APAC Team with weekly planning processes:
    • Serve as part-time scrum master for APAC team
    • Define and report weekly goals to management
    • Orchestrate and prepare C-Level and Partners presentations and meetings for Senior Management Team and Partners
    • Facilitate communication between Head of APAC and team members
  • Drive business administration topics in APAC region
  • Create and maintain business dashboards and performance reports
  • Design and implement processes to enhance business performance tracking and reporting
  • Coordinate update of customer relationship management (CRM), including improvement of CRM software
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Organizational Skills – Keep track of company & team information. Anticipation and preparation of topics that may arise during appointments
  • Problem Solving Skills - Planning multiple projects, tasks and meetings. Calculating budgets, team ramp-up, resolving issues on short notice, being a troubleshooter handling all issues coming in
  • Software skills - Excellent skills necessary in: MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, Outlook, MS Word, MS OneNote, Miro board
  • Communication skills - Communication with supervisors, C-Levels (external/internal), staff, other external parties on a daily basis. Effective communication (incl. verbal, written and nonverbal) is absolutely required
  • Critical thinking skills - develop creative solutions, make last-minute decisions or evaluate and develop methods and strategies for completing tasks and projects. Questioning decisions and ideas to support and optimise the team’s thinking process

Preferred skills:

  • Analytical skills - analyzing of all kinds of situations, business proposals/plans, research results, budgets in all aspects of the organization
  • Interpersonal skills - Successful work with executives, staff and externals requires interpersonal skills including teamwork and empathy to develop strong relationships
  • Networking skills - Especially an internal network is required so that you are always up to date in all areas and can quickly access all the information that the Head of APAC needs
