We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).

Your mission during this flight:

As an Intern in our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Department, you will closely collaborate with all functions, from shop floor to flight test, to provide employees with a safe and healthy workplace (§6 ASiG). You will assist the department in all fields of Health & Safety and be able to independently handle certain tasks and projects.

• You assist with all aspects of occupational health, safety and environmental protection
• You take part in conducting risk assessments, defining and implementing actions to mitigate risks
• You assist the team in developing HSE procedures for the Integrated Management System
• You prepare and participate in HSE Site Visits
• You assist in incident investigations, research and reporting 

Check-in your professional skills:

• Master or Bachelor Student in Safety Engineering or other related technical fields
• Passion for occupational health, safety and environmental protection
• Ability to work in a team
• Hands-on attitude and solution-oriented thinking
• Fluent in German and English 

Preferred skills:

• First working experience in HSE
• First working experience in an international organization
