We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).
Your mission during this flight:
As Strategy Intern, you will be an integral part of the Strategy & Execution Office, working on high impact strategic topics that are relevant for our company and its future. This includes strategy development, cross-functional project management, city roll-out preparation, sustainability and more.
You will be closely working with our purpose-driven and results-oriented team on a daily basis to manage projects, conduct research in strategic areas of the Urban Air Mobility market, prepare content for internal and external stakeholders and support managerial processes at Senior Management level.
Check in your professional skills:
- You have an excellent academic background in the field of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Information Technology, or a comparable subject, ideally at the end of your bachelor's or master's degree.
- You have first professional experience in Management Consulting, Strategy/ Business Development, Project Management or similar.
- You have excellent MS Office Skills.
- You have strong analytical skills and are excellent in structuring complex issues.
- You are a communicative, self-driven team player with strong “hands on” approach while having a high attention to detail.
- You are showing initiative, feel comfortable taking clear ownership for projects and have a solution-oriented way of working.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).
- You are available at least for 4 months.
