We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the ground in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).

Your crew during this flight:

As Strategy Intern, you will be an integral part of the Strategy & Execution Team, working on high impact strategic topics that contribute to our company’s future and ultimately, you will write the next chapter of aviation history with us. You will help us drive topics such as overall strategy development, cross-functional project management, international city roll-out planning and execution, sustainability strategy and many more. We are a deeply purpose-driven team, passionate about what we do and excited to onboard you!

Your mission during this flight:

• You play an important role in driving and executing various strategy-related projects and initiatives on a company level
• You analyze and evaluate market developments in the global UAM (Urban Air Mobility) industry and help make significant management decisions
• You support in managing strategic projects across the company
• You support the preparation of C-Level Management presentations and meetings for investors, the advisory board, and external partners
• You are a sparring partner for the Strategy & Execution Team

Check in your professional skills:

• You have an excellent academic background in the field of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Information Technology, or a comparable subject, ideally at the end of your bachelor's or master's degree
• Ideally, you have successfully completed a first internship in Management Consulting, Strategy/ Business Development, Project Management or similar.
• You have strong analytical skills and you are excellent in structuring complex issues
• You have good MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• You are a communicative, self-driven team player with strong “hands on” mentality while having a high attention to detail
• You like to take initiative, feel comfortable taking clear ownership for projects and have a solution-oriented way of working
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
• You are available for at least 4 months starting from November 2023 or later
