We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the ground in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).

Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, your purpose is to support the scale up of Volocopter, by handling full-cycle recruitment process for dedicated teams, and bring onboard new team members according to departments' needs and company goals: Guarantee the high quality of hiring and cultural & mindset fit/add to company; work with the TA and P&O team in the development and maintenance of good recruitment processes, and promote and develop Volocopter's Employer Brand.

  • You develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract top talent in the designated business area(s)
  • You partner with hiring managers from FTE planning through to contract signing
  • You collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and create job descriptions
  • You source, screen, and evaluate candidates for open positions
  • You conduct in-depth interviews with potential candidates to assess their fit for the role and the company
  • You manage the interview process and provide feedback to candidates and hiring managers
  • You negotiate job offers and conduct background and reference checks
  • You provide guidance and training to junior team members
  • You participate in employer branding initiatives to attract top talent
  • You initiate and implement process improvements in your own area of responsibility
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or related field
  • Experience with and ability to independently manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Business fluent in English and fluent in German; At least one additional language is a plus
  • Get things done mentality
  • Eye for structures, processes and continuous improvement
  • High sense of urgency
