We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We are bringing urban air mobility to life by introducing our air taxis and drones as an electric addition to current transportation options in megacities worldwide. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. Your mission during this flight:

We are looking for a Manager Finance Processes & Systems to support us in building a finance & accounting environment with scalable systems and processes. You will be driving and maintaining processes excellence to ensure compliance as well as user acceptance across all finance & accounting processes end to end. You will support the integration of existing and new Volocopter Group entities into our global process and technology framework. The focus should be on digitalization and standardization to minimize and mitigate operational risks. You will be working on multiple exciting and challenging projects worldwide, with many stakeholders inside and outside Volocopter.

• Manage the successful implementation of processes and monitor internal control over financial reporting
• Be the champion for our key internal controls and their successful implementation. Collaborate with and challenge process owners to further develop our internal control framework, including adequate controls to mitigate our process risks (Risk-Control Matrix). Analyze the gaps between actual process and target process and support the implementation of controls
• Support process owners in overall governance, especially for Order to Cash (O2C), Purchase to Pay (P2P), Record to Report (R2R), Payroll, Asset Management
• Responsible to ensure global system and process maturity, while continuously working on improvements, both technical and procedural
• You are the bridge between IT and Finance, always exploring and implementing the best finance solutions. Automation, compliance, and simplification are your main objectives
• Facilitate the scalability of processes and systems within our Finance IT landscape, which includes a global ERP as well as reporting, consolidation, and compliance tools
• Change facilitator in finance

Check in your professional skills:

• Ideally you have gained a few years of experience at a consultancy/ Big 4/ finance department with accounting systems, processes, and internal control systems; experience in a fast-paced environment desirable
• Degree with a focus on finance, accounting, or related fields
• Knowledge of financial reporting systems; experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central, Power BI, Blackline or OneStream is a plus
• Experience with COSO Internal Control - Integrated Framework, change management, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or SOX desirable
• Knowledge of agile framework and Jira is a plus
• Autonomy & pragmatism are two qualities that you embody, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, where needs and priorities evolve rapidly and decisions on all levels need to be made fast
• Distinct willingness to learn and quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas
• Fluent in English and a conversational level of German
