We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We are bringing urban air mobility to life by introducing our air taxis and drones as an electric addition to current transportation options in megacities worldwide. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. Your mission during this flight:

As a Battery Operational Lead, your main mission is connecting different workstreams for battery development. You will act as a central point, connecting stakeholders, structuring efforts, and driving & supporting the execution of development objectives. Together with the team, you will help make lasting improvements to performance and realize important goals.

• You secure the execution of the project scope and its development objectives by creating tools, tracking progress, coordinating workstreams, and driving overall progress
• You apply (agile) project management methods and develop the project plan and timeline in close alignment with relevant stakeholders
• You organize and lead workshops to e.g., review & aggregate results, develop scenarios, or outline a way forward
• You act as a link to the broader organization, ensuring alignment through excellent communication, e.g., with Manufacturing
• You create and update reports and necessary project documentation
• You source and manage the interface to suppliers
• You identify blockers and drive required decisions

Check in your professional skills:

• You have completed a Master’s degree in e.g. Industrial Engineering, Engineering & Management, Mechanical/ Electrical engineering, Business Administration, or similar
• You have 5 related working experience in Project Management or Consulting
• You are curious, technically educated, and have a strong business background
• You have excellent verbal & written communication skills
• You are proactive, passionate, and solution-oriented
• You excel in a cross-functional and multi-cultural team
• You are well-organized and result-driven

Preferred skills:

• You have 7+ years related working experience in Project Management or Consulting
• You have worked in the battery or electric vehicle industry before
• You are experienced in working in a R&D setting
