We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. Your crew during this flight:

Our Maintenance Team is an ambitious, highly motivated, and flexible team to assist the technical entry into service of our various air mobility products already now alongside the development phase. Each team member provides their competencies and energy to make the visions happen.

We are developing the maintenance setup not only for Bruchsal but also for our international rollout. We aim to create innovative and effective maintenance concepts and organisational setups while adhering to the regulations and securing the highest safety standards. We are a motivated, multi-cultural Team that enjoys developing the technical operations of Urban Air Mobility worldwide. 

Your mission during this flight:

We are looking for a Project Engineer for Maintenance. The person selected will be responsible for all international roll-out projects and has to coordinate strategic projects in the Maintenance organization. 

  • You lead projects for setup and the international rollout of the maintenance activities
  • You scope and define these projects, ensuring firm guidelines, governance processes and monitoring
  • You develop the Maintenance strategy in collaboration with CAMO and Air Operations
  • You analyze the respective maintenance markets to identify potential collaboration partners
  • You coordinate multi-skilled project teams and integrate maintenance activities in the overall operations strategy and project in a matrix / cross-functional style environment
  • You issue, monitor and adapt maintenance processes, procedures and standards
  • You assist and promote a safety culture based on integrity and continuous improvement
  • You communicate and have a close liaison with all key resources and stakeholders
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Bachelor oMasters'srs Degree in Aviation, Engineering or Industrial business management
  • Proven project management skills
  • Good negotiatioskillsll, experience working with authorities and/or OEMs
  • Highly communicative/networking/good presentation skills

Preferred skills:

  • Process Design
  • Experience in a P-145 organization and their regulations
  • IT knowledge (AMOS, JIRA, Microsoft, Projectmanagement Tools)
