Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). Your mission during this flight:
As Facility Project Manager, you will be an integral part of Volocopter Facilities Management, helping to create the built environment needed to bring urban air mobility to life. Our team’s scope covers the entire facility life cycle, from building construction projects to operational facility management.
You will be responsible for managing and executing construction and conversion projects of various scopes on behalf of our internal stakeholders, guiding them through the concept phase all the way to implementation and handover.
- You lead and manage building construction projects, including Greenfield, Brownfield, and conversion initiatives on behalf of internal clients such as production/factory planning, testing/engineering or flight test/air services.
- You develop and control project plans, timelines and budgets and manage project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, in quality and cost-effectively.
- You collaborate with architects, contractors and vendors to oversee project implementation.
- You ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- You evaluate project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements for future projects.
Check in your professional skills:
- You have a degree in a related field such as construction management, engineering, or architecture.
- You have professional experience of 8+ years in construction project management of medium turnkey projects and a strong interdisciplinary project understanding.
- You are knowledgeable of relevant building codes and regulations.
- You are proficient in both German and English.
- You demonstrate excellent organizational skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners, and the ability to develop and control comprehensive project plans.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in construction or modification projects for production and testing facilities.
- Background in project steering or construction consulting.
