We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the ground in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).
Your crew during this flight:
As a Managenent Intern in our Mechanical Engineering Team, you are highly engaged in bringing our Research & Development team and the whole company forward. You support our Head of Department in their day-to-day business. You take on responsibility for parts of the team’s projects and you directly assist our Engineering Management team with preparing presentations and documentation.
As a member of this team, you may take on administrative as well as operative tasks in which you can express your strengths, like creativity, coordinative talent, and communication skills. Furthermore, it is the purpose of your role to experience your internship as a learning journey, in which you should be able to dive into different topics and responsibilities. Your opinion is very valuable to us and you are always invited to express it.
Your mission during this flight:
- You support project management
- You help manage the day-to-day business
- You coordinate and prepare documentation, requests, and presentations
- You create and maintain digital team areas, pages, overviews
- You prepare and follow-up on meetings, workshops, and events
Check in your professional skills
Required:
- You hold a work permit valid for an internship or working student role: either as a citizen, a permanent resident of the EU or through a student visa with a permit to work
- You are studying a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Management, or a similar program, ideally, in your last semester of your studies
- You have very good MS-Office skills
- You enjoy challenges
- You are a highly communicative team player, who excels in a self-responsible, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working
- You have solid organizational and executive skills, as well as a strong orientation towards the customer
Preferred:
- You are fluent in English and German
- You have already gained some practical experience in Consulting, Business Development, Business Administration, IT, or similar area
