We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).

Job Description

Your mission during this flight:
As an IT Support Engineer you are part of our IT department, which is responsible for the overall IT Service Operations and plays a key role in ensuring smooth processes. You are the first choice contact to solve IT related problems quickly and reliable to enable our multicultural and innovative team to decisively shape our vision of the future of mobility. Furthermore, you are bridging the gap to our headquarters in Bruchsal by qualifying and solving incidents as well as service requests.

  • You ramp up and manage the IT Support in our Munich office
  • You implement IT Service Management processes and keep them aligned
  • You manage the local IT infrastructure and inventory
  • You provid technical support and consulting via our ticket system for in place solutions 
  • You manage user and groups in our hybrid Microsoft Azure AD environment
  • You are responsible for software distribution and hardware provisioning (on-site and remote)
  • You contribute to our Mobile Device Management (MDM) administration
  • You create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Completed training as IT specialist SI or similar qualification 
  • 3+ years of professional experience in IT support and user support 
  • Versed knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL or comparable)
  • Very good knowledge of the current Microsoft Office 365 products 
  • Hands-on experience in the Apple iOS / MacOS area 
  • Reliability, ability to work in a team, and high customer orientation paired with an independent way of working 
  • Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
