We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Job Description

As an IT Support Engineer you part of our IT department, which is responsible for the overall IT Service Operations and plays a key role in ensuring smooth processes. Here we control and optimize the business processes and infrastructures that enable our multicultural and innovative team to decisively shape our vision of the future of mobility.  

Maintaining a hands-on mentality, you are first choice contact to solve IT related problems quickly and reliable. By implementing and maintaining best in class IT service management processes you are bridging the gap to our headquarters in Bruchsal and qualify and solve incidents as well as service requests.

Your Role:

  • Ramping up and managing of the IT Support in our Munich office
  • Implementing IT Service Management processes and maintaining them aligned
  • Managing the local IT infrastructure and inventory
  • Providing of technical support and consulting via our ticket system for in place solutions 
  • Managing of user and groups  in our hybrid Microsoft Azure AD environment
  • Software distribution and hardware provisioning (on-site and remote)
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) administration
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and user manuals
Qualifications
  • Completed training as IT specialist SI or similar qualification 
  • 3+ years of professional experience in IT support and user support 
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL or comparable)
  • Very good knowledge of the current Microsoft Office 365 products 
  • Experience and/or good knowledge in the Apple iOS / MacOS area 
  • Reliability, ability to work in a team, and high customer orientation paired with an independent way of working 
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ideally, broad knowledge of hardware-software solutions from various vendors
