Job Description

Your crew during this flight:

As a member of a highly multi-disciplinary Manufacturing engineering team, you will set up first battery pack production and work closely with our design, quality, and production teams. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and resolution. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate experties in adhesive application and equipment and possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for improvement within a fast-paced environment

Your mission during this flight:
As our Adhesive Specialist - Battery Pack Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop reliable manufacturing methods to ensure that our product's adhesive interfaces meet aviation certification standards.

  • You will identify adhesive automation equipment and lead the development of our adhesive automation equipment process
  • You will commission and implement adhesive equipment
  • You will improve the efficiency of our adhesive manufacturing processes 
  • You will create manufacturing instructions to document new processes
  • You will diagnose equipment failures, collect data to identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions
  • You will participate in developing FMEAs and control plans
  • You will collaborate with our research and development team to guide design for manufacturability
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical engineering
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with adhesive application & equipment
  • You have experience with chemicals, especially two-component adhesives
  • You have knowledge of PLM systems
  • You are familiar with an ERP system
  • You have an understanding of manufacturing equipment safety systems
  • You have excellent problem-solving techniques and analytical ability
  • You are fluent in English (both spoken and written)
  • You have exemplary verbal and written communication skills
  • You excellent creative and lateral thinking skills

Preferred skills

  • You have experience with dispensing programs (matrix and CNC)
  • You have experience in battery manufacturing or battery pack assembly
  • You have experience with Siemens NX as well as Siemens Teamcenter
  • You have experience with aviation hardware development desired
