We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We are bringing urban air mobility to life by introducing our air taxis and drones as an electric addition to current transportation options in megacities worldwide. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. In 2011, we performed the first-ever crewed flight of a purely electrical multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale Volocopters (www.volocopter.com).

Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

Provide legal support of the worldwide activities of Volocopter in cooperation with other colleagues of the legal department. Focus on supporting business and specialist areas as a legal business partner, advising on all major legal issues and complex projects.

Providing legal advice and support on a variety of corporate legal matters in an international environment
Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, including supply, distribution, purchasing, service and technology licensing agreements
Working with and advising business divisions directly, as well as preparation and implementation of in-house training courses
Monitoring and timely implementation of regulatory requirements
Support on corporate housekeeping.

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

Top of the line analytical skills, paired with a hands-on growth mentality
German Law degree or European Law degree paired with (first) practical experience in the German legal system
Fluent English and German skills (written and verbal) required
Team player with a high degree of flexibility, commitment, and resilience
Ability to understand technical details
Diplomatic skills and good judgment

Preferred skills:

French language skills are a plus
Knowledge of aviation law is a plus
Ideally first experience in an international setting (in-house lawyer/law firm), preferably in a highly regulated industry
