We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).

Your mission during this flight:

As part of the Communications team, you will have the opportunity to help shape the urban air mobility story by working for one of the most up-and-coming players in this emerging field. In your role as Senior Marketing Manager - France, you will report directly to the Head of Marketing & Brand Management. And you will be responsible for the marketing and communications strategy for our entire product family (which currently encompasses the VoloCity, VoloDrone, VoloConnect, VoloPort, and VoloIQ) as per our global brand strategy. You will be based in Paris (France) and travel regularly to our site in Bruchsal (Germany). You will initially be responsible for coordinating the launch of our VoloCity air taxi in Paris, in time for the 2024 Olympic Games. This will be followed by subsequent launches in other cities across France.

• You will develop and implement the marketing strategy and overall marketing communications for the Volocopter brand and its products in France in line with country-specific requirements.
• You will be responsible for implementing and complying with the Volocopter brand, marketing, and communications strategy and for its products in the French market. You may subsequently be in charge of other European countries.
• You will use KPI-driven optimization of marketing activities to measurably contribute to brand awareness for the relevant B2B and B2C target groups and help to establish Volocopter's brand perception over the long term as the "leader” for urban air mobility in France.
• You will work closely with our in-house Marketing team as well as with external service providers to conceptualize, realize, and manage our brand presence and launch in France.
• You will manage tenders and pitches to identify new communications service providers (media, event, film & agencies) and bring them aboard for the French market.
• You will create reports on all communication activities and present the results at international internal meetings.
• You will be responsible for budget planning and compliance, taking into account KPI requirements.

Check in your professional skills:

• A degree in Marketing or a similar discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing and brand communications working for an international B2C/B2B brand in the mobility or high-tech sector.
• A high level of expertise in all marketing and communications areas (e.g., media, content, CRM, automation).
• Experience in coordinating and supporting productions devised by external service providers and project partners.
• Excellent organizational skills, a hands-on mentality, and can think outside the box.
• You enjoy presenting marketing & communications concepts at internal and external meetings.
• You are business-fluent in written and spoken French and English. German is a plus.
• You are willing to travel regularly between Paris (France) and Bruchsal (Germany).

Preferred skills:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing and brand communications working for an international B2C/B2B brand in the mobility or high-tech sector.
• A high level of expertise in all marketing and communications areas (e.g., media, content, CRM, automation).
