We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We are bringing urban air mobility to life by introducing our air taxis and drones as an electric addition to current transportation options in megacities worldwide. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. In 2011, we performed the first-ever crewed flight of a purely electrical multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale Volocopters (www.volocopter.com).
Your crew during this flight:
As part of the communications team, you have the opportunity to pioneer and shape the story of Urban Air Mobility with one of the hottest players in the field. In your role you will directly report to the Head of Global PR and help in communications projects across the entire company with a focus on the French Market.
Your mission during this flight:
- You have full ownership of PR in France, work with media and editorial teams, build up and maintain existing media contact network, and continuously develop key contacts.
- You create measures to shape the story of Volocopter and our reputations with our key media and regional stakeholders (may include support for municipalities and State relations) with your creative thinking in alignment with our greater Communications team.
- You continuously research and conduct press monitoring evaluations as groundwork for long term regional and global brand press strategy, including media analysis.
- You write, edit, and translate contents for external communications as well as regional Social Media Channels.
Check in your professional skills:
- You have successfully completed a degree in the humanities, communications, languages, or equivalent education.
- You have 7+ years practical experience in a PR agency or equivalent fast moving PR environment and master the common tools used in corporate and product PR.
- You have experience in PR agency management or can work collaboratively with agencies.
- You are passionate about words, writing, and communicating.
- You are passionate about learning new things, adapting your way of thinking, and comfortable meeting new people.
- You have the decisive journalist from French tier 1 media on speed-dial.
- You understand the French market, especially life in Paris, to interpret the voice of the public through media.
- You bring personal initiative, team-spirit, and structured thinking and like to get things done.
- You work accurately, are reliable, take initiative, and in general have a solution-oriented way of working.
- You bring along excellent and proven writing skills in French (native level) and English from your previous work.
