We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electrical multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale Volocopter (www.volocopter.com).

Your mission during this flight:

As the Strategy Intern, you will be an integral part of the Strategy & Execution Office, working on the further development of Volocopter’s strategy, strategic project portfolio, as well as Business Model Development. You will conduct research in strategic areas of the Urban Air Mobility market, prepare content for internal and external stakeholders and support managerial processes at Senior Management Level. Hereby you will work with various cross-functional teams and manage projects at the company level

• You play an integral role in driving and executing various strategy-related projects and initiatives on a company-wide level
• You evaluate and analyze market-relevant developments in the worldwide eVTOL field
• You conduct market research to support crucial management decisions
• You manage specific strategic projects, and you support as a PMO in Task Forces
• You support with the preparation of C-Level Management presentations and meetings for investors, the Advisory Board, and external partners
• You are an ad-hoc sparring partner of the Strategy & Execution Team

Check in your professional skills:

• You have an excellent academic background in the field of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Information Technology, or a comparable subject, ideally at the end of your bachelor's or master's degree
• You have first professional experience in Management Consulting, Strategy/ Business Development, Project Management, or similar
• You have excellent MS Office Skills
• You have strong analytical skills and are excellent at structuring complex issues
• You are a communicative, self-driven team player with a strong “hands-on” approach while having a high attention to detail
• You show-up, feel comfortable taking clear ownership for projects, and have a solution-oriented way of working.
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
• You are available for 5-6 months with a flexible starting date
