We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).

Your mission during this flight:

As an Intern in Safety Management, you will directly assist the Safety Manager in process management, as well as be closely involved in projects and daily tasks that will contribute to further developing our Safety Department. You will also act as a Key-User for our new IT solution and actively work in the development together with an external consultant.

• You will assist the Safety Manager in setting up the enterprise risk management process
• You will create workflow charts together with key personnel 
• You will organize meetings and interviews with process owners
• You will help with setting up IT solutions for the Safety Department
• You will design and assist with training material and presentations

Check in your professional skills:

• Currently studying in a relevant field such as Aviation or Engineering, ideally with a focus or strong interest in Aviation and Safety Management 
• Excellent MS Office knowledge
• Communicative team player, organizational and implementation strength, customer orientation
• Responsible, initiative and solution-oriented way of working
• Excellent written and spoken English knowledge
• You should be available for a minimum of 6 month
• You are a citizen or permanent resident of the EU or your current visa allows you to work in Germany
