We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the ground in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. Your mission during this flight:

As a Production Planner (m/f/d), you are responsible for controlling the orders in battery assembly. To do this, you plan the available resources in the best possible way for the respective orders. You also carry out various improvement projects and the support processes in assembly.

• You plan and controll work orders in the ERP-System.
• You allocate the existing resources to specific assembly steps for the achievement of production targets.
• You build up and execute document management according to aviation law requirements.
• You support and supervise test and measurement equipment management.
• You prepare reports for the production management.
• You participate in, identify and are responsible for improvement projects in the assembly, esp. in connection to the ERP-System.
• You cooperate with other teams in the company for the overall coordination and establishment of standards.

Check in your professional skills:

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, business administration or completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d).
• 2+ years of work experience in a production environment, or similar.
• Willingness to multi-task and work in an agile, constantly changing environment.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills in German and English.

Preferred skills:

• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• MS Office skills.
• Previous experience with ERP systems, preferably Business Central.
• Previous experience in the aviation sector.
