We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Job Description

Your future Volocopter crew:

As part of the Quality and Compliance team the Quality Document Writer will handle the lifecycle management of policies and global (aviation) procedures as part of the Volocopter Integrated Management System (IMS).

Your mission during this flight:

You will work on company documentation (not limited to aviation subjects!) in our electronic Document Management System (DMS) called Webmanuals. If you think your skills and knowledge match the requirements, please contact us and tell us why you think you would be the right candidate for the job.

  • Responsible for lifecycle management of policies and global (aviation) procedures as part of the Integrated Management System (IMS) framework of Volocopter
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and supply technical support for other Document Owners in the entire company
  • Review, update, and draft (new) documentation in the DMS
  • Define Business-Processes of the Company by using Business Process Modelling (BPM) Language
  • Support/manage strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects related to IMS
  • Collect and share best practices through coordination meeting
  • Tracking documents during creation, reviewing and approving processes and ensuring documentation runs through a review process (using tools such as Jira and the DMS-System)
  • Maintain a contemporary knowledge of current industry trends, standards and methodologies as related to the IMS.

Check in your professional skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry quality and/or compliance issues with in-depth knowledge of (Safety) Management Systems across different (EASA) (aviation) regulations
  • Fluent in English both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to find errors and inconsistencies within, and between, documents
  • Critical thinking skills in analyzing and exercising judgment on complex issues, guided by a thorough understanding of (aviation) safety and compliance topics
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent writing skills for different target groups

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with electronic document management systems
  • Project management skills
  • German is a plus
