Our Integrated Safety Management and Risk Team is an ambitious, high motivated and flexible team to support the growth of the company. Each team member provides its competences and energy to make the visions happen. The team is developing an overarching companywide management system. As Aviation Safety Risk Manager, you will be responsible for providing guidance and direction for the planning, implementation and operation of the organization’s risk management system embedded in the Integrated Safety Management System, and will report direct to the safety manager and will act as his deputy.
Your mission during this flight:
- Demonstrates an excellent safety behavior and attitude, follows regulatory practices and rules, recognizes and Promotes hazard reporting and ensures effective safety reporting.
- Models and promotes an organizational culture that fosters safety practices through effective leadership.
- Acts as an information conduit to bring safety issues to the attention of management and to deliver safety information to the organization’s staff, contractors and stakeholders.
- Provides and articulates information regarding safety issues within the organization.
- Assists in the continuous improvement of the hazard identification and safety risk assessment schemes and the organization’s SMS.
- Analyses technical data for trends related to hazards, events, and occurrences.
- Effectively utilizes applicable processes and procedures to fulfill roles and responsibilities.
- Investigates opportunities to increase the efficiency of processes.
- Measures the effectiveness and seeks to continually improve the quality of processes.
Check in your professional skills:
- University degree in aviation matters preferably in aviation safety or equivalent qualification.
- Strong background in Risk Management in Aviation and Corporate level.
- Proven experience in the aviation safety environment.
- Proven knowledge of aviation legislation.
- Friendly and Agile way of working in international and interdisciplinary teams.
- Good command of German and English language.
- Strong self-organization skills and capability to work independently.
- Confident handling of computer applications
