We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electrical multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale Volocopter (www.volocopter.com).

Job Description

Your future Volocopter crew:

Our Operations Team is an ambitious, highly motivated, and flexible team to support the growth of the company. Each team member provides its competencies and energy to make the visions happen. The team is developing an Air Operator company, released from old-fashioned concepts. We aim to create the next Air Operator generation respecting applicable regulation as well as the SMS. We develop new Flight Operations concepts following the regulations. We are a motivated Team that enjoys developing an innovative Air Operator company.

Your mission during this flight:

You will be the Nominated Person for our Air Operator´s Certificate and assume all responsibilities which involve this position:

  • Develop the Flight Operations Department
  • Develop the manuals according to new regulations and an innovative vehicle
  • Establish and introduce procedures and standards in the company
  • Work closely together with other airline departments but also Civil Aviations, ATM/UTM, vertiports
  • Participate actively in EASA rulemaking activities, work on new regulation proposals


 

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Having worked in a Nominated Person role or at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in writing and developing Operational Manuals Part-A, B & C, procedures, processes
  • Training requirement & regulation knowledge
  • Pilot and crew training regulation knowledge
  • Experience in using specific Safety and Operational software
  • Motivated to work in establishing requirements that can be submitted to other target cities
  • Experience in working with international established civil aviation's
  • Fluent English communication skills
