Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

As Electrical Laboratory Test Designer, you will ensure a proper System and Components Test Benches of the Volocopter throughout its lifecycle (from design concept to End-Use-Part). 

  • Increase maturity level of proposals from EWIS Design Team
    • Check for clearances, live edge, bearing loads reserves
    • Check nested tolerances, surface finishing, labelling, assembly sequence
  • Manage the E-BOM and related lead times
  • Constrain large assemblies of the Laboratory team
  • Perform studies of laboratory Electrical, Acquisition System components and architecture
  • Maintain the correct configuration control of the system
  • Create and revise parts based on input from design, stress, test, and system engineers
  • Create manufacturing drawing based on best manufacturing practices and stakeholders’ input
  • Start and track release workflow and collect comments, correction, and signatures from stakeholders
  • Ability to manufacture/maintenance Harnesses
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Technicians or above degree in areas of aeronautic electrical design or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years proven experience in high complexity CAD models and large assemblies
  • Knowledge of Siemens NX, Team Center, PLM
  • Hands-on, creative and solution-oriented way of working
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken 
  • Experience in aerospace standards
  • Good experience of quality assurance systems
  • Experience in drawings checking and release
  • Basic System Engineering (TRL, Engineering gates PDR, CDR, TRR, etc)
