Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Paint team. This position requires an experienced professional with a comprehensive knowledge in paint and body manufacturing processes in aircraft production.

The position will balance both departments and lead ergonomic, material flow and cycle time studies. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

  • Develop manufacturing processes for paint shops in a serial production environment
  • Create new manufacturing processes and perform worker trainings
  • Perform time studies to balance manufacturing processes
  • Closely collaborate with teams, such as Design Engineering and Production
  • Validate and characterize processes for production implementation
  • Create detailed Manufacturing Instructions to document new processes
  • Design production workstations for ergonomics and efficiency
  • Drive design for manufacturability
  • Push continuous improvement activities
  • Weight reduction
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • BS/MS In Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in Aircraft Painting Processes or closely related field
  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes
  • Experience with composite material painting
  • Familiarity with paint related manufacturing equipment for high-rate production
  • German and English language skills

Preferred skills:

  • Experience introducing new processes into a production environment
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
  • Worked in an ERP production setup
  • Lean production experience
  • Hands-on Paint Experience
  • Czech language skills are a plus
