We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

As a Laboratory Development Engineer, you will be responsible to design schematics on NX, create and configure drawings, support troubleshooting, and maintain test benches for aircraft integration, systems, sub-systems, and components testing. To develop your tasks, you will rely on technical information as technical drawings and documentation.

Scope: Test benches, aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will design electrical schematics on NX (Preferable) or any other tool.
  • You will be responsible to create drawing and necessary documentations.
  • You will be responsible to understand and interpret technical documentation, schematics, drawings, tables, and diagrams.
  • You will support on test benches troubleshooting activities.
  • You will support on manufacturing and assembling of test benches and it parts.
  • You will be responsible for the correct use of tools and equipment.
     
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Engineering Degree (min. 3 years)
  • At least 3 years of experience with design tools and software
  • At least 3 years of experience on test benches development, verification, and acceptance
  • Experience with requirements engineering
  • Knowledge of aircraft development and certification aspects
  • Experience on test benches troubleshooting and Maintenance
  • Structured, independent, hands-on attitude and solution-oriented way of working
  • Good problem solving and communication skills
  • English knowledge

Preferred Skills:

  • German knowledge
