Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). We have pledged to bring urban air mobility to life by getting electric air taxis and other eVTOLs off the ground in a way that complements existing transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable, on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we carried out the first-ever piloted flight of a fully electric multicopter and have since conducted more than 1,500 public and private test flights across the world (www.volocopter.com). 

Your crew during this flight: 

As a member of our Market & Business Development Team, you help to analyze and build-up our commercial air taxi and utility drone business in regional markets worldwide. You support the headquarter team in Bruchsal and Munich and work with our local market teams globally to initiate, develop, and maintain partnerships along Volocopter’s value chain, and you contribute to the further refinement of our company’s overall strategy and go-to-market approach.

Your mission during this flight:

• You will help prepare the international roll-out of our services all over the world.
• You will assist in segmenting and assessing markets, building financial business models, describing customer profiles, and developing route networks.
• You will calculate and size use cases for the VoloDrone to provide a basis for future decisions for the management team.
• You will identify and evaluate strategic partners to build the air taxi and utility drone ecosystem.
• You help establish partnerships and support the contracting process.
• You will support our efforts in local and regional markets to strenghten public acceptance and ensure support from relevant stakeholders.
• You will be part of and assist in the preparation of international flight test events.
• You will take ownership and lead your own projects supported/guided by your supervisor.

Check in your professional skills:

• You are currently studying towards a degree in Business, Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Information Technology, or similar, ideally at the end of your bachelor’s degree or currently studying towards your master’s
• You have gained first experience through projects or internships in Consulting, Strategy, Project Management, or in similarly fast-paced environments
• You are a communicative team player and have organizational and implementation power
• You show initiative, enjoy accountability, and have a solution-oriented way of working
• Your MS Office skills are excellent and you exhibit high proficiency especially in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Excellent English and German, both written and spoken
• You are a citizen or permanent resident of the EU or your current visa allows you to work in Germany
• You are available for a minimum of 4 months (full-time)
