We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We are bringing urban air mobility to life by introducing our air taxis and drones as an electric addition to current transportation options in megacities worldwide. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. In 2011, we performed the first-ever crewed flight of a purely electrical multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale Volocopters (www.volocopter.com).

Your mission during this flight:

As a (Junior) IT Procurement Manager you will be part of the IT team based in the Digital Office. Together with another colleague, you will be responsible to assess our IT equipment needs, evaluate suppliers and take over ownership of the procurement process from order to handover.

Main tasks:

• Consultancy of our business functions in terms of IT equipment
• Maintenance of our IT online shop
• Purchasing IT hardware and software as well as management of the whole associated process: Goods-in, inventory, labeling, hand-over and warehouse management for hardware and software assets
• Correspondence with and management of suppliers to plan shipping and delivery dates
• Inventory maintenance: Supported by our asset management system, checking current inventory levels and keeping records.

Check in your professional skills:

• Excellent computer skills, especially very good knowledge of all O365 products
• Ability to organize multiple projects and tasks in parallel
• Keep an overview of the status quo and  the next steps in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of ERP-Systems / Microsoft Business Central as well as procurement processes, guidelines and procedures
• Strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (German and English)
