We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).

Your mission during this flight:

The Diversity & Inclusion Intern will support company-wide strategic initiatives related to diversity and inclusion. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience working within the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team. Throughout this internship, we offer the opportunity to interact with leadership and team members from many different areas. • You will assist the DEI team and strategic initiatives.
• You will provide administrative and operations support for Employee Resource Groups and Diversity Councils.
• You will research DEI trends, best practices, and external benchmarks and prepare recommendations based on findings.
• You will maintain an internal DEI resource site for employees.
• You will develop social media content and internal communications, including educational materials, presentations, articles and announcements.

Check in your professional skills:

• Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program preferred; preferred programs include Business, Psychology, Sociology, Organizational Behavior/Development, or Human Resources
• Previous experience or course work with classes in Diversity, Inclusion and Equity, Social Justice, multicultural studies, organizational behaviour and related experiences
• Strong knowledge, interest and demonstrated commitment to social issues and creating diverse, equitable and inclusive groups and communities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent proofreading and organizational skills
