We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the ground in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. Your mission during this flight:

The Procurement Manager (m/f/d) is responsible to source their dedicated scope of components as well as parts and acts as the contact person towards all respective suppliers.

• You negotiate offers
• Ultimately you decide on awarding, supported by the requesting stakeholder and the procurement strategy
• You handle purchase orders for commodities and/or parts
• You ensure supplier management with tracking of orders and in-time delivery of milestone deliverables
• You handle goods received and potential claims in close cooperation with quality assurance and legal
• You support other departments as required for operative topics (open invoices, incoming goods, etc.)

Check in your professional skills:

• You have completed your Bachelor studies in the field of business administration, economics, business informatics or engineering. 
• You already have some solid professional experience in purchasing or in a comparable position
• You have experience with ERP Systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 
• At least 1+ year of professional experience in the field of procurement or in a comparable position
• Basic Knowledge of project and/or supplier management
