We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We are bringing urban air mobility to life by introducing our air taxis and drones as an electric addition to current transportation options in megacities worldwide. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. In 2011, we performed the first-ever crewed flight of a purely electrical multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale Volocopters (www.volocopter.com).

Volocopter Asia is the first office outside Germany and we are working towards launching Volocopter operations in Singapore.

Your mission during this flight:

As a member of the Volocopter Asia Pacific (APAC) Team, you are responsible for the development of the security and safety risk assessment model in accordance with the requirement demanded of CAAS.

You shall assist the Senior Aviation Business Manager to conceptualize and trial a security and safety management program following the four pillars of aviation security and safety management and ensure security and safety compliance to CAAS requirements.

Main tasks:

• Drawing alignment from HQ Volocopter SMS manual, draft the Safety Risk Assessment model for Singapore operations in terms of the Air Operating Certificate (AOC) including:

Safety policy and objective
Safety risk management
Safety assurance
Safety promotion

• Drawing alignment from HQ Volocopter SeMS manual, draft the Security Risk Assessment for Singapore operations in terms of the Air Operating Certificate (AOC) including:

Security policy and objective
Security resilience
Security assurance
Security promotion and management

• Establish a hazard reporting and incident reporting system for Volocopter operations in Singapore
• Establish a risk management system for Volocopter operations in Singapore
• Conduct timely and effective safety promotion for Volocopter operations in Singapore

Check in your professional skills:

• Academic diploma/degree in aerospace, engineering, business or comparable study program
• Experience in security and safety management
• Knowledge with ICAO Annex 17 and 19 would be advantageous
• Excellent command in spoken and written English and 1 other Asian language
• Ability and willingness to work in an agile and fast-growing organization

Preferred skills:

• Knowledge and experience of aviation security and safety management process
• Actively engaged with the aviation industry in Singapore
