As part of a highly driven Production & Logistics team, you will set up a first battery pack production at Volocopter and you will work closely with colleagues from production, logistics, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams. Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

As a Machinery Maintenance Manager (f/m/d) you will drive all maintenance activities for machinery in production lines, ensuring a smooth process while adhering to latest industry best practices and aviation certification standards.

Main tasks:

  • Plans and schedules all maintenance activities for different facilities
  • Monitors equipment (building, technical building equipment, machinery, tools, and equipment) and ensures efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assists in the acceptance process for machine installations and commissioning
  • Manages and supervises own staff and service provider in maintenance service and repairs in the production facilities (carpentry, painting, plastering, and machine and electrical servicing, etc.)
  • Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
  • Reports to Manager or Head of a Unit/Department (Production lead)
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets

Check in your professional skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor
  • 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required
  • Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes
  • Requires deep technical knowledge (mechanical, electrical and/ or automation technology)

Preferred skills:

  • Additionally completed vocational training or dual study program is a plus
  • Knowledge about HV and/ or battery technology is a plus
