We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life, by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www.volocopter.com).
Your crew during this flight:
As part of the communications team, you have the opportunity to pioneer and shape the story of Urban Air Mobility with one of the hottest players in the field. In your role you will directly report to the Head of PR and help in communications projects across the entire company with a focus on business and finance media.
Your mission during this flight:
- You create concise stories and contents for external communications with a special focus on financial and business communications
- You spread the word about Volocopter’s vision, products, mission, and main messages in an enticing way
- You execute the overall Volocopter communications strategy to your stakeholder media, finding stories relevant for your stakeholders and the overall Volocopter story
- You work with media and editorial teams, build up, and maintain existing media contact network, and develop own key-contacts
Check in your professional skills:
- You have successfully completed a degree in the humanities, communications, languages or equivalent education
- You have 5-10 years practical experience in a PR agency or euqivalent and know the common tools used in corporate and financial PR
- You have experience in creating and executing PR campaigns, in dealing with crisis communications, reputation management and financial communication
- You are well connected within the finance and business media scene, with key journalists on speed dial and close working relationships.
- You bring personal initiative, team-spirit, and structured thinking and like to get things done
- You have a reliable, self-motivated, and solution-oriented way of working
- Excellent written and spoken English (native level) and German
