We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted flight of a purely electrical multicopter and have since showcased numerous public flights with our full-scale Volocopter (www.volocopter.com).

Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

As our intern for Part-145 Maintenance Organization within the Quality Management team, you will be supporting the development of procedures, processes, and manuals for a Maintenance Organization to be approved in accordance with EASA's Part-145 requirements. Along with the team, you will guarantee that Volocopter complies with the standards of design, production, maintenance, and operation of aircraft components. 

As part of the scope of your responsibilities you will: 

  • Visualize concepts and strategies in PowerPoint and excel
  • Define and add processes and procedures in the web manual
  • Support in Facility, Staff, and Workplaning
Qualifications

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (background in aviation or related field is ideal)
  • Excellent MS Office skills (ppt and excel mandatory)
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken
  • You are accountable, have initiative, and have a solution-oriented way of working 

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with web manuals
  • Facility management flexible and "get it done" mentality
  • Jira and Agile philosophy
  • AMOS Maintenance Software
  • General knowledge about aviation
